Yamaha Robotics Co., Ltd. has established the SEMI Business Support Department within the Robotics Business Support Division of Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. (YMIS), Yamaha Motor Group's sales subsidiary in India, against the backdrop of growth in the Indian semiconductor market. The new department will strengthen sales and technical support capabilities in the Indian market and aims to further enhance customer satisfaction through the provision of prompt and attentive services. In addition to its existing Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Factory Automation (FA) businesses, YMIS will now handle Yamaha Robotics' semiconductor back-end manufacturing equipment, enabling the company to provide total solutions covering SMT process, automation, and semiconductor back-end process.
