What is a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO)?
A temperature compensation circuit is built in for the temperature dependency which is the most influential of the frequency stability.
By compensating for the natural frequency temperature characteristics of the crystal, a very flat and stable frequency is provided.
