C2（読み方：Chip Connection）
Abbreviation for Chip Connection. A type of flip chip bonding method. Arranging bumps and pillars as electrodes on a diced chip allows disposing a great number of electrodes with their pitches narrower than C4. As in C4, the chip is mounted on a substrate, which is then heated and bonded in the reflow furnace.
