Our support for “ABU ROBOCON 2024”

  Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. sponsored “ABU Asia-Pacific Robot contest 2024 Quảng Ninh, Vietnam” (Organizer: ABU<Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union>) held on August 25th in 2024. 

  In this contest, participants will create robots based on ideas and teamwork according to a task and compete in technical skills and originality. Thirteen teams selected from 12 countries and regions including Japan and Vietnam participated in the contest.

  We presented a "Special Award" to King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, a representative of Thailand, who performed the task strategically while the automated robot recognized its surroundings, and Ryosuke Nakamura, President and CEO of Yamaha Robotics Holdings Co., Ltd., handed over the trophy to them.   

  Yamaha Robotics Holdings Co., Ltd., has a sympathy for the purpose of this contest which is “to foster the young engineers’ passion and skills for manufacturing and robotics, to promote the exchange of human resources and information and to contribute to the future development in Asia-Pacific region” and supports the success of the students.
